ABOUT US
Cecila Rayna is a journal for people who use technology to do real work. Honest guides for the curious reader, written by people who build and test things, not by a sales team.
Who we are
We are a small crew of developers, designers, marketers and technology writers who got tired of launch decks pretending to be advice. Cecila Rayna started in 2026 as a notebook of tool costs, test results and workflow notes. Today it reaches readers who want to adopt technology without wasting a quarter on something that does not work.
We are not a media giant, and we do not want to be. A small team means every guide is written by someone who did the work, and every correction reaches a human who can fix it the same day. That is the whole advantage of staying small.
Our mission
We help readers make better technology decisions without the hype. Every week we publish free guides on Software Development, Cybersecurity, E-Commerce, Social Media Marketing and Cloud Computing: real 2026 prices, tested workflows and decisions you can act on.
That means fewer hot takes and more receipts. When we say a tool costs a certain amount, we show the plan and the hidden fees. When we say a process saves time, we show where the time goes in review. The guides are free because readers trust them, not because an advertiser paid for them.
Editorial standards
No sponsored picks, no pay-to-rank lists. We use primary documentation, published prices and our own tests, disclose relationships, and correct mistakes in public within 48 hours. Numbers come from official pricing pages and real invoices, never from a press release alone. If a claim fails verification, we say so.
We do not accept payment for coverage. If a company sends unsolicited material, we either return it or mention it in the article. Any affiliate link is labelled, and it never decides whether a product or a guide appears, or how it is ranked.
The team
Cecila Rayna (Editor), Marcus Vale (software delivery), Priya Nair (security), Sofia Bergman (e-commerce and design), Grace Whitmore (social strategy) and Noah Bennett (cloud operations). Supported by contributing testers who review every guide before it ships.
Between us we have shipped small products, reviewed thousands of pull requests, migrated workloads and read more pricing pages than anyone should. That experience is the only credential that matters here.
